1.  Purpose

The purpose of the Town of Ashland field program is to provide fair and reasonable opportunities for the use of the Town’s fields for residents and other users in a safe and respectful environment.

2.  Link to Scheduling Registration and Booking (SchoolDude)

In order to book a field, you must first register online using SchoolDude.

SchoolDude is a cloud-based mobile application and can be used from any mobile device to request and schedule a field rental.  

If you already have a login OR in order to create a SchoolDude account CLICK HERE. This is **required** for requesting a field rental space.

Once an organization SUBMITS a request, it must then be Approved by the DPW (pending Insurance or Deposit if necessary) and then ACTIVATED to confirm your reservation.

4.  Insurance Requirements

Rental groups will be required to provide liability insurance documentation. Applications submitted to the Facilities Department Office must include a certificate of Comprehensive Form General Liability insurance, which provides coverage in the amount of $1,000,000 for each occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate, bodily injury and property damage combined, naming the Ashland Public Schools as an additional insured.

5.  User Groups

This section will provide you with the type of organization that your particular organization is defined by.  The priority usage of the fields are determined by the user group types.

Note:  The Town reserves the right to request field rental deposits to be determined by the size of the event.

Adopted Fields:  Adopted Fields are completely maintained by Ashland Sports organizations and not available for rentals:

Ashland High School Sports Complex - 5 fields (1 Artificial Turf multi-purpose and Track, 1 Baseball field, 1 Softball field and 2 Practice fields).

The Town is currently in the process of moving away from the SchoolDude platform to an online booking platform that is catered more directly to Field Bookings.  This will take some time to get into place.  The target date to start this new booking tool is difficult to say right now.  This page will be updated as soon as we have more information.  In the meantime – please book your fields using SchoolDude.
