Virtual - The Basics of Ice Fishing with Jim Lagacy of Mass Fish & Wildlife *Family Friendly

Monday, January 31, 2022

If you have ever wanted to learn this fun wintertime activity, now is your chance! Learn how to feel safe and confident standing on the ice as well as all the tools and techniques needed for catching fish. A perfect way to spend some of these cold, winter days!

Jim Lagacy is an Aquatic Biologist at MassWildlife and has been teaching courses on fishing for years! In this session, Angler Education Coordinator Jim Lagacy gives his best tips for getting started ice fishing, including safety, gear, bait, and more. We hope you can join us for this virtual event.

Please register to receive the zoom link. Registration is through the Framingham Library's Form - just scroll down a bit to find the Jan 31st program (and peruse their other offerings!).
