Hybrid - What's Up in the Sky? Spring Edition with Len Rabinowitz

Monday, May 16, 2022

Len is going to take us on an overview of what's up in the sky in the Spring (and how that is different from other seasons!). He'll chat about constellations, the why of the seasonal changes, and how to best view the stars from your backyard (or places around town that ideal).

Len is an avid astronomy enthusiast and he hopes that these quarterly sessions will ignite Ashlanders interest in the stars and bring them out for his upcoming star parties! We hope you can join us to learn all about both.

Len Rabinowitz has recently been appointed NASA Solar System Ambassador! He is a retired history teacher from Ashland High School, a lifelong astronomy enthusiast, as well as a musician. He has hosted many star parties and looks forward to bringing more back to the Ashland Library this summer!

This is a HYBRID program so you can attend in person or online. All participants must register so we know how many to expect at the library and virtually.

All participants must register.  If you are joining us in person, PLEASE CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ON EVENTBRITE
