Ashland Town Forest- Native American Stone Works

Ashland resident, Author, Anthropologist, and Archaeologist, Dr. Curtiss Hoffman will lead us on a fascinating exploration of the native American stone structures in the Town Forest. His carefully researched book Stone Prayers: Native American Stone Constructions of the Eastern Seaboard is a definitive work on this subject. Our walk offers insight into the lives and practices of native tribes that lived in and around what is today our Town Forest. 

This walk follows a 1:00 pm talk by the author in the Ashland Public Library.
