NEW LOCATION- MEET AT LIBRARY
Join photographer Steve McGrath out in the "field" for this new monthly series. Learn how to use your various devices to take the best nature photographs that you can! On the first Saturday of the month, we'll meet at various places around Ashland (and beyond) and Steve will assist you in how to get the best light, best angles, and how to pay attention to your surroundings to find magic all around. We're so excited for this series to begin!
IMPORTANT: Registration for this program is required. The meeting location and a phone number (in case you get lost or are running late) will be emailed to you in a reminder email, 2 days prior to the meeting. Space is limited to make sure everyone has a great experience. So, if you sign up and can't make it, please cancel your registration through Eventbrite (or contact the library) to make space for those on the wait list.
Steve McGrath is professional freelance Photographer and Photography Teacher who has been creating images for 30 years. Steve first began by shooting sports photography for local high schools, then weddings, and stock agencies. Then his love of the outdoors led him to focusing more on his true passion "nature photography". Many of his images have been published in school text books. His favorite places to shoot are Acadia National Park in Maine, the Green Mountains of Vermont, and the Cape Cod National Seashore.
This program is generously supported by donations to the Friends of the Ashland Library.
