Virtual: JOB SEARCH HELP -- Creating An Edge To Land Your Next Job
Monday, October 31, 2022
Getting hired for a job opportunity often depends on small details that make the difference between you and other candidates. This presentation will discuss those areas in which a small improvement can have a big payoff, especially in today's world in which communication by Zoom or other video technologies is now common. By becoming more aware of how you present yourself, both in person and online, and what you communicate when you interact with others, you will gain an all-important edge and make yourself a more desirable candidate for the position you want.
Led by Randall Warniers, a freelance editor, book designer, and book publisher who spent nearly two decades in the world of publishing as managing editor of a research journal at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He is also an instructor in 19th-century British literature at Acton-Boxborough Community Education, and the coordinator of the Films at Fowler movie program at the Concord Library. For many years he was a facilitator and member of the leadership team at Acton Networkers.
