Virtual: Beyond the Library : A History and Virtual Tour of the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill

Thursday, September 15, 2022

Join Theresa Lee for a talk about the history of the museum and the important role it plays in engaging people in the natural world. She'll take you on a virtual tour to see the beautiful sights that await you on your next visit.

As Chief Development Officer for New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, Theresa Lee directs the membership and fundraising strategy for the Garden. Her team works to engage people into the NEBG community through membership, special events, and philanthropic support. Prior to joining NEBG in 2020, she was a fundraising consultant and a senior executive in advancement at MIT, Boston College, Holy Cross, WPI and UMass Lowell after an early career in Student Affairs at Northeastern University. A native of Portland, ME, she has lived in Northborough, MA for 22 years.

This event is hosted by the Cary Memorial Library, Lexington, is sponsored by the Friends of Cary Library, and is a collaboration between the several Massachusetts libraries. Ashlanders are invited to join virtually by registering through the zoom link.

"Beyond the Library" is a series based on our libraries' Museum Pass Programs - if you have not used the Ashland pass for Tower Hill, you can reserve one today!  Our Museum Pass program, which consists of 17 passes for museums and experiences throughout MA, is sponsored by the Friends of Ashland Library.

Please register for this event and you'll receive the link in the confirmation and reminder emails - make sure to check your spam folder for them. The email will be coming from Zoom.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Ashland Public Library.
