Virtual - Beyond the Library presents a Visit to the Discovery Museum

Join Discovery Museum CEO Neil Gordon for a look at Acton’s STEM-focused children’s museum and its accessible outdoor nature playscape and giant treehouse, and learn about what families can expect and enjoy when visiting. Neil will also provide a brief look at the Museum’s recent conversion to 100% on-site generated solar electricity, ongoing free programs and events for families with children with disabilities, and more. Discovery Museum celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding this year.
"Beyond the Library" is a series based on our libraries' Museum Pass Programs - if you have not used the Discovery Museum Pass, you can reserve one today! Our Museum Pass program, which consists of 17 passes for museums and experiences throughout MA, is sponsored by the Friends of Ashland Library.
This event is hosted by the Cary Memorial Library, Lexington and a collaboration between the several Massachusetts libraries. Ashlanders are invited to join virtually by registering through the zoom link.
