In-Person: ELL Conversation Circles @ the Hopkinton Library *For Adults
Thursday, September 29, 2022
Ashland Library is thrilled to be partnering with the Friends of the Hopkinton Public Library to bring ELL (England Language Learner) services to our community! This is the second year of ELL Conversation Circles at the HPL and they are happy to welcome past students as well as greeting new participants. So, if you or someone you know is looking for some support in learning and practicing English skills as well as creating a support circle for yourself, please feel free to join us!
This program is designed to provide an opportunity for English As Second Language (ELL) Learners to practice vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar in a fun, comfortable, laid back environment. Each Conversation Circle will use guided conversations and real life situations to build language confidence.
All level of learners are encouraged to participate.
Our first Conversation Circle will be led by Janet Fannon. Janet is a volunteer instructor who has extensive professional experience through the Jewish Vocational Services of Boston. She has experience with beginner and intermediate adult students.
The focus of this first gathering will be to give participants a chance to experience a Conversation Circle. It will also give us an opportunity to learn about you and how we can meet your needs.
Please join us for our first session on Thursday, September 29th at 2:30 at the Hopkinton Public Library. Future Conversation Circles will meet on Thursdays at 2:30. Registration is not required for the first meeting.
We are pleased to be partnering with the Friends of Hopkinton Public Library for this program. Registration is not required, walk-ins are welcome!
