Virtual - Holiday Anthologies for Romance Readers Panel *For Adults

Who doesn't enjoy a good holiday anthology? Especially a great romance one! Join authors Eva Moore, Preslaysa Williams, R.L Merrill, and Kilby Blades - contributors of the well loved anthology "The Worst Holiday Ever" - as they talk about the appeals of anthologies, how they are created, and why the holidays are just the perfect time for a good one. Oh, and we'll make sure to spend some time talking about their upcoming books, too!

Read to a Dog with Bear for kids who are reading on their own (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

Children who are reading on their own can read to Bear, a registered therapy dog, for 10 minutes. Books may be brought from home or checked out from the library shelves.

Decorating Gingerbread Like a Pro *For Older Teens and Adults

Do you love decorating gingerbread but would like to up your game? Cake artist Dawn Rice Norton will be joining us to give us some real hands-on tips on how to decorate like a pro! Dawn will share her recipes for gingerbread and fondant, talk about the best tools to use for different textures, and will let us know the best candies for the perfect effect. We'll show a short presentation of some of Dawn's more spectacular gingerbread creations.

Saturday Needlecraft Club *For Adults

Bring your project (any portable needle arts welcome - knit, needlepoint, crochet, zentangle, quilting, sewing, etc!) to our casual gathering where you can work, talk, and share ideas together. We're trying two times - Mondays and Saturdays - for two months to see which is the best for our participants. At the end of October, we'll choose one to move forward.
