    Romantic Venice captures the heart. Its canals and gondolas are legendary. Visit its iconic canals, neighborhoods and islands in this virtual armchair travel presentation from Jack Holmes, a travel photographer and owner of "Images From Near and Far" at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell. A retired high school teacher, Holmes previously served as President of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association and Gallery Manager of the Loading Dock Gallery in Lowell. He regularly gives armchair travel presentations to senior centers and libraries in the area.
