    For the past 20 years, Elon Musk has been building an enormous commercial spaceflight company. Unlike Boeing, United Launch Alliance, Blue Origin, or Virgin Galatic, SpaceX has revolutionized the space industry. While most the non-governmental efforts can be described charitably as ploddingly slow and painfully predictable, Musk and SpaceX have been surprising, bold, breathtakingly fast, and successful. Led by David S. Ball, a volunteer educator with NASA. As a Solar System Ambassador with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, he presents topics related to American activities in space.

  2. (In-Person) Lego Club for Kids Age 5 & Up - Registration Required

    Each child will be given a box filled with an assortment of Lego blocks to build a creation using only what's inside the box within the 45 minute time limit. The finished creations will be displayed in the Children's Room for a few weeks. Attendance is very limited.

    Children with some reading ability will have the chance to read to one of our registered therapy dogs for 10 minutes. Books may be brought from home or checked out from the library shelves.
