(In-Person Walk-In) YMCA Play, Learn, and Grow Group for Ages 0 to 5

For ages 5 and under. A parent and child group offered by the Metrowest YMCA and the Early Childhood Alliance of Ashland & Framingham. A structured program to help prepare children for socialization and a school experience.

Prior to the New Deal, American workers had little power and few protections in the workplace. This session explores how FDR's historic Labor Secretary Frances Perkins changed the balance of power between workers and management to improve working conditions and usher in the modern labor movement. Led by Jeffrey Urbin, Education Specialist at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum.

PJ Story Time with Ryan (and his stuffed animals!)

Come in your pajamas, and bring your favorite stuffed animals! We will read stories about a different one of Ryan's stuffed animals every week.

We are thrilled to be chatting with authors Isabel Cañas, Romina Garber, Priscilla Oliveras, and Caridad Piñeiro about their journeys to becoming published (and fabulous!) authors, keeping in mind their diverse Hispanic backgrounds. Whether they were born in the US or elsewhere, we wonder how their heritage has influenced their writing, characters, publishing journey, and fan base. It's sure to be a fascinating conversation!
