Design Review Committee Meeting

(In-Person Walk-In) Project ABC Nutrition for Littles *for ages 0 to 5

"Our goal with Nutrition for Littles is to provide caregivers with the confidence and tools needed for successful feeding environments; introduce and increase acceptance of new foods, while offering a safe space for open communication with other caregivers and our YMCA nutrition staff. Nutrition for Littles will offer hands on learning through age-appropriate cooking activities, art and crafts, gardening, and more!"

Virtual: Paul McCartney -- The Solo Years

No less than the Guinness Book of World Records has proclaimed that Paul McCartney is the Most Successful Composer and Recording Artist of All-Time! The road he traveled to get there wasn’t easy. Paul was devastated when The Beatles broke up and struggled to move forward. There were missteps, but Paul hit his stride and was riding high by the end of the decade. Using interview and performance video clips we’ll trace the arc of Paul’s first post-Beatles decade from “Maybe I’m Amazed” and “Live and Let Die” to “Band on the Run” and “Listen To What The Man Says.” “Silly Love Songs” to some, but pop/rock masterpieces to most.

(In-Person Walk-In) Read to a Dog with Knives and Machete for kids who are reading on their own

Children with some reading ability will have the chance to read to one of our registered therapy dogs for 10 minutes. Books may be brought from home or checked out from the library shelves.

Virtual - A Visit with author Charlotte McConaghy

We are excited to partner with the Chelmsford Public Library as they welcome their "One Book Chelmsford" author, Charlotte McConaghy, to their virtual stage! Charlotte will be in conversation with the Ashland Library director, Meena Jain, and they will be discussing Charlotte's magnificent book, "Migrations". We hope you can join us for this special event.
