Friends of the Ashland Public Library Full Day Book Sale and Donation Day

Now the 1st Saturday of the month, Mini Book Sales will continue on donation days in the months there is NOT a Big Sale. This changed Mini Sale will begin on January 7, 2023 from 10 am to 1 pm and every month thereafter, except 2-day Book Sale months of June, December and March.

Cookbook Club: "The Aleppo Cookbook : Celebrating the Legendary Cuisine of Syria" *For Adults

We're so excited about our Cookbook Club at the Ashland Public Library! For this meeting we are focusing on recipes from "The Aleppo Cookbook : Celebrating the Legendary Cuisine of Syria" by Marlene Matar. In this cookbook, Marlene Matar, Lebanese chef of television and cooking school fame, offers delicious ways to celebrate the diverse historical roots of Middle Eastern cooking in over 200 recipes for foundation dishes and fancier meals.

Virtual: The Trial of Lizzie Borden -- Whacks and Hacks

When Andrew and Abby Borden were brutally hacked to death in Fall River, Massachusetts in August 1892, the arrest of the couple’s younger daughter Lizzie turned the case into international news and her murder trial into a spectacle unparalleled in American history.
