Michelle Rose
My name is Michelle and I am a lifelong resident of Ashland, MA. I am excited to return to the Boston Marathon this year, running in support of the town of Ashland and the BAA Grant Fund, which helps essential programs in town. Having grown up along the marathon route, I have watched the race pass by year after year, and it had been a lifelong dream to be a part of the event. In 2019, I had the honor of running the marathon for the first time with my sister and raising money for the town of Ashland. This year, I’m excited to once again run alongside my sister in support of the town that has had such a profound impact on both of us.
You may recognize me from my various interviews on the local cable station over the years. Although I am interviewing fewer dogs these days, I still have a strong connection to the town and I am excited to give back to the community that has given so much to me over the years.
Running the Boston Marathon is a way to honor my hometown, contribute to local initiatives, and inspire others to give back to the place they call home. My fundraising goal is $3,000, which will directly benefit local organizations and programs in town. The funds raised will help support essential programs in Ashland. Each of these programs are designed to empower and enhance our community.
I am very excited to take on this endeavor and complete my 5th marathon! Any donation is appreciated and will contribute to enriching the town of Ashland and making a positive impact on the lives of its residents.
