Regular Meetings

The Commission meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM at Town Hall.

Meetings are open to the public.

Local Historic District Study Committee

A Public Forum was held to discuss the Local Historic District Warrant Article will be held on Thursday April 17, 2025 at 7:00 pm.  This warrant article will be voted on at the May 7, 2025 Town Meeting.

Walk Ashland's History with Us 

April 27 at 1 p.m.

Learn the historical significance of key properties and landmarks that you pass by everyday!

Jim Neilsen, Chair of the Historical Commission, will lead a guided walking tour of Ashland's Historic Downtown sponsored by the Historical Commission, the Historical Society, and the Open Space and Recreation Committee.

Due to the rain on Saturday the walk will take place on April 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Meet at the Town Hall parking lot After the walk, enjoy light refreshments at the Ashland Historical Society’s Ocean House at 2 Myrtle Street.
